Get Katie Holmses’ fabulous Short Haircut

We were all surprised when pictures of Katie Holmes were published with her new trendy short haircut. Initially I wasn’t sure whether I liked it or not, but now I think it looks fab. Suri and Katie’s hairstyles look kind of the same, which is adorable.

How to create this look:
The hair is more natural than the similar short haircuts of Victoria Beckham, Jenny McCarthy and Rhianna, whose styles are more polished, although that can also be achieved, by using a straightening iron such as Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener.
The hair is cut chin level, has a prominent side parting, and razor cut layers. The side swept bangs add softness and feminine flair.
Wash hair as usual; add some styling mousse, if you have fine hair add some Paul Mitchell Volumizing Spray. Section off your hair and start blow drying with a round brush at the nape, then move forward on both sides finish with the top section. If you have a stubborn bangs do them first and end off by styling the bangs again, alternatively do them at the end. Finish off with hairspray: for strong hold use Matrix Vavoom Finishing Freezing Spray or for a light finish spray on some Redken Quick Dry Finishing Spray.
