You don’t need to visit a hair salon to achieve a beautiful sedu hair style; it is so easy you can do it yourself. It took me a while to operate the iron for my hair to look good, so I walked around with straight hair for quite a while. A friend then told me she curls her hair with her flat iron, I was surprised, why do they name the thing flat- and straightening iron? Well I didn’t know this, so here are a few sedu hair style tips and techniques to help you get the best results from your iron.
All you need is a flat iron.Choose a straightening iron with ceramic plates; depending on the length of your hair, choose smaller plates for shorter hair and thicker plates for longer hair. Your best option is to purchase one which has different heat settings, read the instructions to determine your specific temperature setting.
One of the most important sedu hair style tips, remember this, don’t use the iron on a daily basis it can cause extensive damage especially if your hair is color treated. Apply a thermal heat protection product before styling. Use a quality deep conditioner at least once a week to give your hair the moisture it needs.

The true secret to great hair styling is to practice, and after a while you will know exactly what to do. As usual, shampoo and condition your hair, try to choose the range that suits your hair type. Apply a suitable straightening product and don’t forget the thermal heat protector. Blow-dry your hair; if you want a straight and flat finish use a paddle brush. Your hair has to be completely dry before using the flat iron. Divide your hair into sections and start at the bottom. Work with small sections of hair at a time. Start from the roots downwards, and as close as possible to the roots. To finish of, spray on some shine serum. Quick sedu hair style tips:
- Don’t straighten your hair when humidity is a force to be reckoned with, your hard work will be in vain.
- Use a bigger round brush for a curvy finish.
- Use your flat iron to create soft curls. Insert hair either horizontally or vertically, turn iron 180 degrees and pull the flat iron.
- Flip your hair out by starting at the roots going straight and near to the end turn the curling iron up as in a flicking action.
- Flip your hair in by starting at the roots going straight and near to the end flip in the hair.
